Thanks Bill!

I turned 33 this year and am starting to feel the old age, feeling tired and lazy all the time, maybe I should be a museum piece :P :P :P

One more night shift tonight, then the rest of the evenings are free (until that changes), so hoping to get a roller this weekend. Missing fork bits issue sorted, so everything is looking good for the moment, fingers crossed!

HA! LOL

I'm actually looking forward to 50! To me, that will be phase 2, a life reset if you will, so I'll be a teenager again (with free time) by retirement ;D ;D

Rafi,
Everyone has their Dreams.  What you just said though has NOT proven True.  At least not for me!  :) :)
There is always more to do then you get done!  And if I stopped coming up with projects right now, I would still have more to do than I could get done in any reasonable lifetime.  :)

And PS, growing old is mandatory, Growing Up is Optional.  :)

Yea, that's all it is, a dream, I doubt I'll ever be free of work.

Annyyhuuu, made some time this evening to get the rear wheel fully ready, hopefully the front tomorrow.

All new brake shoes and springs, DIY zinced brake cam and cap, retaining plate and new cotters.

Lubed it all up with high vac grease.

Brand new dust seal for the cam.

Rechromed bar, I even had the bolt chromed to keep it matched up.

Lubed up rubbers on the inside, new sprocket and DIY zinced splash guard.

Brand new tounged washers from yamiya (saved the originals that I zinced for my K3, that one came with broken ones).

Rechromed axle, chain adjusters and bolts, DIY zinced spacer. Funny story with the axle, the chromer had plated it all the way despite me telling him I didn't need that. Ended up being too thick, so I took it back, and he thinned it, but left it plated throughout yet again, he just didn't like it with just the ends chromed. Fits well though, so I let it go.

I look forward to the posts on this thread like I used to on SOHRon's epic 550 thread.  Keep up the great work, Rafi.  This one's going to be a stunner.

Blanchard ground rotor (thanks Bill, for advising me about a year ago on this), DIY zinced front axle and nut.

I seem to have lost the pic of the tounged washers from yamiya on the other side, they're from the same set I posted about earlier. I chipped the paint a little in two spots when wrapping them around the nuts. but those oil based sharpies are working out great for tiny touch ups 8)

Front wheel almost ready, just gotta borrow a 1/2" drive torquer from the auto shop to tighten the axle up.

Used a 1-1/2" (I think, had it around the house) PVC hose as a seal driver, covered up the new tubes with the packaging they came in to avoid scratching anything, worked like a charm. The circlips are a pain to install but got them in there with some persuasion. New set of progressives, skipped the preload spacers.

All new rubbers for the air box, used the 6mm o-rings from the vesrah kit as I used all NOS ones for the head.

New K&N Filter, DIY zinced all the hardware, painted the top two tabs.

Air box done and ready to go.

Drove it down caveman style using the extra fat washer as pounding shield and a PVC pipe. Tore open the NOS toolkit to tighten down the DIY zinced top washer (inner lip ground out to allow for dust seal).
