CB750 Caliper and rotor interchangeability question
« on: September 14, 2013, 12:48:59 PM »
Can I replace my K3 caliper and T-shaped caliper bracket with the newer style F0 caliper and T bracket?  I know that the brackets use the same mounting points on the forks, and that the F0 T bracket is thicker, I'm just not sure if the rotors are the same (diameter, offset, etc) between the K3 and F0 bikes.

The F calipers are different and the most difficult to get although I think Dave Silver now has repro ones

I actually have a rebuilt F caliper and T bracket.  I'm hoping it will just mount up and away I go.  Does anyone know if the rotor from a K3 is the same dimensions as the F0/F1 rotors?

Should bethe same. I find the smooth calipers are harder to route brakelines in a clean fashion..

The F0/F1 caliper "may" be the same as the K7/K8 caliper. Is the piston 42.8mm? All K model 750s used the same rotor..

From reading thru the forums, my understanding is that the F0/F1 and k7/k8 use the same Tokico "4" model. A 42.8mm piston caliper that has no fins, and the mounting bolts are on the piston side.
