cb350 carb rebuild?

going to pull off my carbs this weekend, if all goes right.  Is there any hints or tips out there to make the job easier?  I understand that the diaphram is one thing to check.  Is there a good place  to buy the kits?   what name brand should I look for in a kit? also can you buy the diaphram anywhere if it is bad??

many thanks in advance

kevin

kits come in a couple of price ranges. I've found the cheaper $15 ones don't include a low speed jet.
diaphrams are non-existant as far as I've found! If you can hear air forced out as the  slide moves, I'd bet they're ok and would leave them alone. I'd suck to damage one durring dissasembly and not be able to get a replcement!

Otherwise, use lots of cab cleaner and a wire set is a miracle tool! ;D

cool.  I was worried about the diaphram.  I am in the process of getting  carb kits.  I will make sure they have all the goodies before ordering.  thanks for the info green!

If you find a diaphram with a pinhole in it you can patch it. My Yamaha 4 wheeler had a little leak and they wanted $100 for a new diaphram. I cut a little chunk of the red edge off a tire patch and glued it on with vucanizing cement. Been running pretty much daily like that for 2 years now. Prolly wouldn't work on a larger tear though.
