Hagon Shocks - spring weight ?
« on: September 21, 2006, 09:52:14 AM »
After hearing some advice from Terry in Aust., I think I'm going to get some of the Hagon shocks for my '77 750F (Ikons sound great, but$$$).  The U.S. distributor tells me that the springs available are the standard 20kg/110 lb, or 23kg/129 lb and even 26kg/146lb.  I weigh about 215 lbs, will ride with hard side bags, and will occasionally carry my wife who weighs I guess 140 lbs.  I figure I need more than the 20kg/110lb, but do any of you have advice for me on the 23kg versus the 26kg?  They allow two spring swaps to get it right, but I'd rather try to get it right the first shot.  Thanks for the time.
