Anyone going to this meet? I plan on going Saturday.
18th annual Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Meet Show. Aug. 18-20.
 Spring Grove, Pa.
Judging of motorcycles from the 1960s to the mid-'80s. About 150 vendors also sell vintage parts by Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki.

Sounds like fun , I am going to bring the 72 CB350F via back roads.  Hope to see some of you guys there!

Screw that! Laborday weekend and the week after is the VJMC National meet, in Cadallac, Michigan..an absolutely beautiful area! Those from Wisconsin could take the Ferry over and have about an hour ride! I just might go! Besides, it's only about a 1 1/2 hr. ride for me!

jeezus. Sorry I am not in the ultra-cool, we-have-the-best-roads-in-the-nation-to-ride "michigan" chapter of the VJMC, or anyother chapter for that matter.  I just thought I would pass on some interesting information to the rest of the members and guests here.

 maybe the previously posted weblink will help? I just saw a little blurb in the weekend paper about it and figured,
what the hell, 100 miles each way, I Bet the bike can make it! *knocks on wood*
hope to see some of you NON MICHIGANERS there!  just kidding ces.  i would like to see you, too.  but i am guessing it is too far to come.  just like michigan it too far for me.

um, have you ever been to michigan?
the roads here are pure #$%*.  it's like a war zone.  moon craters. 
i sharpen my slolem skills dodging them.


a couple of years ago it was ranked by long-distance truckers as number 44 in the continental states for quality.

that said, i'm bummed out that i'll be in ohio both weekends.

I agree with you 100%, and would jump at the chance to go to either one.  logistics, though, decided for me.
