'75 750 plug wires
« on: September 25, 2013, 03:20:05 PM »
I'd like to put new wires on my '75 750f ss, but the coils seem fine, and I don't feel the need to replace them. But it's all one piece as far as I can tell. What's the standard operating procedure here?

Cut and splice?

Any cycle parts/accessory shop should have splicers. NGK is a
brand I seem to remember. Use solid core wire, and plug wire
caps rated at 5K ohms, and non resistor spark plugs. Use
heatshrink to seal the splices. Should fix you up..
