Begins at 8500 and goes until she blows or 9600 whichever comes first

Mustn't still have a tach stock on it... or the red area bleached white.

Anyway, I regularly spin mine to 10,500 - but it's had a little prep work done to it.  ;D ;)
Take care,
David

Naw, it's a NOS stock tach which matches the original. And yeah, I usually shifted mine after the redline too with the Yoshi kit in it. The Yoshi cam and S & W springs made that work  :) It's that one missed 1 to 2 power shift past redline when still stock that ruined it back in '76.

OK, so it's a '75 tach, just a darker green with identical redline.

How many miles on the clock now Jerry?

Interesting.

I've installed the Wiesco 836 kit and Mike Reick has done quite a bit of work to the head, I've wondered if this will let me run it a little higher or not. Not that I'm too likely to do that...

Yeah, you'll have the capability to go more. Hoping Mike did you some HP valve springs too. Your carb size may be somewhat of a limiting factor but my stockers can feed to 10,000 without any issues.
