G'day to all that's into the High Performance and Racing Forum.
Just to let everyone know I have been on the SOHC 4 Forum for a while now & have introduced myself in the Intro bit & also in the Newby section, so I was told by an Awesome bloke to give an Intro here.
My name is Pedro Smith, I live in Queensland  Australia, I have owned sohc Honda fours on & off for most of my life.
I own one now which is a 72 CB750/four K2 which my Father owned a long time ago, it's been in my family for 28+ years or so. Back in Feb 2009 My Son's & I rode to Willowbank Raceway to watch the Nostalgia Drags & saw a few old bikes run including a sohc 750/four & talking between us that this would be a fun thing to get into, we met a couple of guys that raced that day & said to us would be a great thing if we could get into the Nostalgia Drag race seen. The More the merrier. As we are Motorcycle Mad.
So we went home knowing we only had 6 months to get a bike built for the next Nostalgia Drags at Willow Bank.
My Son Adam previously puchased a 76 CB400/4 which was pretty rough but the motor ran & seemed to have no major rattles so the bike was stripped down, motor pulled out & painted up, frame with fresh paint etc etc, & pulled things off to make it as light as possible. So in the end we made it to the Next Nostalgia's which was in Aug 09 where Adam made his debut into drag racing, then by the next meet in Nov 09 ? had two more bikes built for Me & My youngest Son, Isaac, who got his little 79 YB100 Yammie finished & I had my K2 finished so now we can all get into it & have some fun
& haven't looked back since, So that's when we established us, The "Smith Bro's Racing Team". So to date, Adam got the first Trophy as Runner Up, & has another R/up recently. Isaac has got two Winner Trophies to his name & I have got Two Winner Trophies & One Runner Up Trophy, not Bad in our four years of Racing, & I am one very Proud Old Man with two awesome Son's & a Great Wife & Mother that gets behind us all the way, who looks after us at all our Meets by preparing food & also taking photo's & video's of us, We look forward to the future building more bikes to have a ball on.  Anyway hopefully we can work out how to put up some pics & video's soon, all the best to all out there. Cheers.
From Pedro Smith, & the S.B.R. Team.   8)

Pedro, hold off trying to post pics as I think you need so many posts before you are allowed to post. ;)

We just need the boys to come in now out of the cold. ;D I think I saw that Adam had quite a few posts so he should be able to post pictures. 8)

Hi guys,
Thanks for the warm welcomes.  ;)
The Drag Racing bug has bitten hard.
Dad forgot to mention that Isaac and I started drag racing against the neighbour in the back alley way, when we were about 4 and 5, Isaac on his yammie peewee 50, I had a honda QR 50 and the neighbour having a peewee 50. The Honda winning on most occasions  ;D
I have 3 Runner Up trophies, Isaac having 3 wins..

Cheers,
Adam

Hope these pics work..
These were taken at Willowbank Feb 2013,
Dad made to the final and red lit, was against John Kries on the Clockwork Orange H2 750.
John has been racing since the early 70's on the same bike.

I tried shockies for this event, didn't help getting off the line clean so put the solid struts back on.

John's H2.
He gave racing up for awhile back in the 90's and came back the same event I started in Aug 09, and won.
