Good luck fella's, have fun... ;)
Thanks Retro Rocket, we finally finished packing & headed for Willowbank, had to stop at the first town 20 kays away from home to get fuel, filled up plus got fuel for 2 of our dragbikes, then noticed on ground in front of our tow vehicle a puddle of water, there was a constant drip of coolant dripping on ground found out the radiator had a hole in it so we decided for Isaac My youngest Son to drive back home & luckily we have a spare vehicle at home to swap out the radiators while Adam My oldest Son & I continued on to Willowbank for Adam to compete in the Street Series event on Sat Night. So with a bit of Luck on our side all went well with radiator swap. Lucky Adam was towing his dragbikes down & grabbing his gear when we filled up with fuel. So got to Willowbank in time for Adam to do Street Series, then the rest of the Tribe arrived around 8pm to set up for Sundays Allbike, So Sunday's Allbike Meet went well, Isaac Winning the Old School v New School bracket, then in a grudge match between My Boy's Adam & Isaac they both got PB's running against each other. I'll Let Adam update you all on their 1/4 mile times etc... cheers all.

We were lucky we spotted the leak when we did. The weather was bloody great on the weekend.
The Willowbank All Bike was a great success, I really hope they have more of them.

So I was knocked out in the first round of the street series once again on the Saturday night haha ::) arrived just in time to get 2 quick qualifiers in, 14.705 @ 87.55mph, miss shifted 14.941 @ 87.79mph
So lined up for the first race dialed in @ 14.55 thinking I ran a couple 14.4's at the last meet.
My opponent on a GSX 1400 dialed in @ 11.32 both left the line with .1 reactions, 1.9 60 footers my opponent went on to win with an 11.324 @ 118.22mph to my 14.446 @ 88.04mph

Sunday All Bike
After getting to sleep early Sunday morning woke after about 4 hrs sleep to the sound of bikes and trailers arriving to set up for the days racing. The lack of sleep resulted in some bad reactions  ::) and a 12.3 and 12.4 in qualifying.
I had the bye run in the first round of racing and stuffed my chance to test my dial in of 11.50 by stalling the Mongrel off the line  :-[
kept the 11.50 dial in for the second round and broke out with an 11.361 @ 116.49mph Dialed in at 11.25 for round 3 and went 11.444 @ 116.34mph

They opened up the lanes for some grudge races after the finals and presentation
Isaac and I lined up the picture is the result. ;D

Adam & Isaac,You Both did a great Job at the Allbike, your Old Man is very happy for you both. Isn't it funny how you Both get PB's when you run against each other, I'm sure that happen before. I think I might have to get My old motor rebuilt to a Big Bore motor just so I can keep up...  :D

Haha, Thanks Sam. Thanks Bill
I will take the bike down and weigh it at the Nostalgia's in August.

Bike has JE 836 pistons, 900F rods, Head is an F2 and worked on by Dave McClurg of Albion Motorcycles in Brisbane QLD, I think the valves are Kibblewhite??, Cam is an Ivan Tighe #369 grind, CR 31 Carbs,
Bike ran 10.7's with original owner / builder with auto clutch setup. So that's my goal with current setup. Previous owner ran 11.0's @ 120mph

Hi Pete, Hope you are well mate. It would be great to see you at Willowbank in a few weeks for the Nostalgia's? welcome to stay before and after.

Bike was built and owned by Peter (Mongrel) Stevenson, bike always red and white had Mongrels Monster written on tank. Ran 10.7's with MTC 836, centrifical clutch setup, ARD, Mikuni 29mm smoothbores. Peter took the motor out to 970cc MTC at one stage, didn't go as quick. In 1996 I think it was, he sold it to Kevin Williamson he ran it for a while with that setup, said it made 90HP on the dyno. Changed the setup back too the standard clutch, swapped the ARD for a Dyna III, swapped the Mikuni's for the Keihin CR's and freshened it up with JE 836 pistons. Broke some valves in the burn out at Roma, freshened it up then sat for about 10yrs?

Yeah I know, bit silly hey  ::)
I'll have to ask Peter, you may be right. Peter had a 400f with a 500cc kit he drag raced before the Monster.
