Didn't send it. Never have seen it. ???

My only involvement with Aussie drag racers was dragbike.au site many years ago that my Hondamatics were on. This predated dragbike.com.

This is our next event, 1/8 mile racing. The T-shirts will have the same print as this poster, it is of all last year's winners.
Well we, the Smith Bro's Racing Team went to the Warwick Dragfest, leaving home late Friday Evening. Started to get some rain as we were leaving & rained on & off on the way down until we got to the other side of Toowoomba, it was easing up & arriving at Warwick rain had gone, thank God. Arriving late as usual,we set up camp, had a midnight snack then Bed. Next morning up at sparrow fart, had breakie & my morning richual, Coffee. Then took our bikes through scruteneering, got all sorted before qualifying, so Saturday was all qualifying. Before we left home I managed to have time to put a 15 tooth front sprocket on my old tired 750/four hoping it would make a difference over the 1/8th mile. So qualifying started & my best time over the 1/8th was a 9 flat @ 75mph smoking the rear tire to the 60' mark, was a bit hard getting traction with that small front sprocket, but Man, was it Fun, I managed to get 4 quallify's in, running consistant 9 seconds. If I could get traction I probably could run in the Mid to High 8's. Anyway Saturday night they put on a Sausage Sizzle & Free Beer & they put on a Rock & Roll Band hows that for laid back. So after a great day & night, thought I better get some sleep. Next morning up at sparrow fart again ready for Racing, was a pretty good day weather wise but a little windy but eventually died down, I was still running consistant 9's for all three races & still smoking rear tire to the 60' mark, lifting front wheel on last race after doing a mad ass burnout, getting the old rear tyre sticky, what a run that was, yirrr harrrr.. So at the end of the day they don't run a final race here, it's just worked out on best 3 runs, thats a bit of a bummer I reckon, but anyway. So started packing our gear away until the presentation starts, so at presentation their calling out all the Winners of the Cars then the Bikes & one of our regulars a young mate who races a Modified Kawasaki 900 Wins the Modified Bike class then another good Mate gets Runner Up in Street Bike & the Winner in Street Bike they call out, " And The Winner Is PEDRO SMITH..  I was a bit shocked, but hey how Cool is that. I actually Won this Street Bike event in 2011 & My oldest Son Adam got the Runner Up. Then last year 2012 My Youngest Son Isaac Wins, So I was really hoping Adam would win it this year so we all would have a Winner Trophy each, hopefully Adam wins it next year. My Boys ran quite consistant all weekend, they did a great job. So now, for Me, since 2009 I have in total- 3 Wins & 1- Runner Up.                                                                 How Good Is My Sohc Honda 750/ four.     Cheers All...    ;D
