Topic: World Finals Canceled

Bonneville canceled again, that sucks, 2 years in a row now we've been canceled due to crappy weather. Last year it rained early in the week and only got a few runs in early on the first day and then was canceled. This year it looks like there won't be any rain but it's wet now and the cold temps will keep it from drying time. This is getting very expensive. We left the car and rig out there after Speeds weeks to save the extra $1800 in gas to get there and back and now we have to fly back out there just to bring it home.

I don't know about any other event. Speed week and World Finals are the only events we partake in. Sought him (Mike Cook) out when we there for our first run and picked his brain for advice that we put to use and was successful with it. He was running the same engine as us (Dodge but not an Ernie Elliott Dodge) but he lunched the motor and had big parts and pieces in the intake after his run.
His web page says they are still on. They run the week after World Finals so they may have the salt dry enough by then.
