This is so rascist. Every "type" of teenager behaves like this in inner cities, not just coloured people which what this seems to say to me. This video is about RACE and not bad bikers.

Now that   ^^^^^ is racist. Who are you calling coloured? I presume you're white? Isn't that coloured? Or is it only when your skin is black? No where did Eric make reference to race, you brought that into it.

I get that now, but it's still no excuse for using the term coloured.  It harkens back to the ignorance during the height of the Civil Right's movement.

Fark - did I offend somebody and miss it, usually I just direct those kinds of posts to my good friend Terry in OZ.  :D  The post of the gentleman in Baltimore on their bikes was actually taken from me from a link that I read in Rick Brett's Kawasaki Triple Forum from England. He is a part time Michigander when he is collecting his killer machines and a good guy and fun to track his exploits, sometimes with envy. Say what you want but it is interesting to be exposed to all of the motorcycle culture that is in our country from the 1% ter Harley club gangs, to the "Wheelie Boyz" to these Hollywood stunt people to us old codgers riding an old 750 Honda. Its all out there somewhere in this diverse country.

One thing that comes out clearly from the whole thing is hatred. From both sides. Doesn't matter how innocent they claim they are, they are bullies. The people they offend respond with more hatred.
I sincerely hope that these "riders" learn from the results of their
actions. Man, have the times changed....Remember when a well executed wheelie was a thing of beauty? And the rider was envied?
It actually took talent to do.....but I digress. Maybe we can all learn,
and possibly not get out of control next time we have a "situation".
It's hard, for sure.  :(  Just sayin'.

I read it that enough pictures had surfaced of him standing there at the beating that he realized he would be made by his cop buddies.
So owned up to the captain 4 or 5 days later.

Your right though, weird and will take a while to play out.

It is extremely hard to get a gun permit in NYC which may account for why there was no gun play. It's a mandatory 3-1/2 year prison term if caught with one. I would not be surprised if some of the bikers were carrying anyways. It started because the RR had the audacity to merge into the crowd of bikes.
It is merely a coincidence that the all of those who resorted to violence from the guy who brake checked to the ones who busted out the windows and drug him out and beat him were black.

And 70% of the mass killings, school and workplace shootings, bombings, etc in this country are carried out by white men, usually middle or upper middle class ....so what was your point?

Now the Media is saying it looks like a off duty undercover cop was riding with the group of bikers. Not investigating the group just riding with them ??? He did nothing because he knew he would be identified and his cover would be blown :o

This story keeps getting better and better. Where are all the cops when you need one like everyone always says. Well in this case on the crotch rocket right beside you ;)

Yeah, I saw that too.  Maybe NY is different, but when I run into a group of modern, fast speedbikes over here in DC area, like at a gas station, they are a different group than the typical HD or cruiser crowd.

I lived in New Haven for many years, this is all too common there. Gangs of punks on stolen dirt bikes terrorizing the downtown streets. Cops are afraid to do anything because they are all underage.
I have seen the same thing in New Haven (my wife grew up there and her parents moved about 1996). Watched this gang riding ( quads and dirt bikes) like A holes down the middle of a main drag. One gets hit by a car and they descend on the car and start kicking the $hit out of the vehicle. I am certain they were all attending Yale and just out for a little fun. ::)

I wonder what may come of any of this?  Iit would be interesting if any outlaw groups became agitated by these guys.
The Hells Angels NYC chapter denounced it in the Daily News

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

But what does that mean?  Of course they don't condone the action, but would vigilantism ensue on their (or other MC clubs) part?  Like I said, that would be interesting, and quite terrifying for those guys.

Don't think the crotch rocket club guys and the hardcore Harley type biker folks are ever going to be great drinking buddies. They are cut from a different cloth.
The hardcore guys do live by some general rules within their organization and honor them with their own discipline when needed.

The type of discipline that leads to half a chapter disappearing into the St.Lawrence? That kind?

I'm wondering if this may be used as a form of publicity stunt by any outlaw organization.  Public opinion of these Hollywood Stuntz riders is very poor (even worse than congress!) with many commenting on how they wish more would have died and been severely injured.  I wouldn't put it past someone to go evil batman on their asses in order to sway the public into thinking, "Hey, HA/Bandidos/Outlaws/insert whoever else here aren't so bad after all."

We kind of got that hint when some HA members publicly commented on their egregious behavior.

I smell potential lawsuit material if the RR driver decides to sue since the one of the a-hole punks got scumbag ambulance chaser Aldred already. He is going to need the money to fight off these capricious lawsuits coming and NYPD has deep pockets.

I'd like to ask a question to anyone familiar with this strip of highway...

Would it have been better if the SUV driver, instead of speeding away after the initial run-over of the cycles, had just gone maybe 25 mph and stayed on the main strip of highway (all while calling the police, of course)?

My thinking is that he's not going to outrun the cycles, but all he needs to do is go fast enough so that they can't dismount.  And I'm guessing that if he'd stayed on the main highway he wouldn't have gotten blocked up in traffic.  If any of the thugs would have gotten in front of him to block him, well, you got to protect your family, and you would hope the thugs are not THAT stupid.  And of course, you'd be hoping the cops would show up pretty fast to put a stop to it.

Would this have worked?
