Getting a title for non resident
« on: September 29, 2013, 07:03:14 PM »
Is it possible for a non US resident to get a title for a bike through one of those title companies? I'm in Canada and was looking at getting a bike with bill of sale only.

If there was a title and it was lost or whatever I don't see why a non US resident can't get ownership papers for a vehicle.

ITS's website has a phone number for US and Canada, so I would assume yes...

I just did the VT registration by mail thing for two bikes.  Worked like a charm.

Not for these 2 bikes yet, but I did recently for a bike I bought from someone else that did the same thing. Just had the registration and bill of sale, ended up with mass title and plates.
