I found this in Hondaman's FAQ so thought I'd move it here so maybe the OP will get an answer!
Steve
Hondaman, I am replacing the head gasket on my K0 750, as you might remember, to clean up an oil leak from the head. I was preparing the 28mm Keihin carbs for re-installation and adjusting the "air" screws to a ballpark setting for the first start up. They are controlled by the initial "Horsetail" throttle cable. The large "thumb screws" on the outsides of the carbs called Throttle Stop Screws. Also called Screw Set A (labeled #7 on the micro fische and part number 16016-300-004) are missing the "T" marks on the screw itself. They were probably erased, or nearly so, when the carbs were media blasted to clean the oxidation from the outside surfaces. I can make out a little of the vertical marks of the "T" but the top horizontal marks of the "T" are missing. Is there a set number of turns from the mild seating of the screws I can turn them to reach an correct setting of the Throttle Stop Screws? I have already set the "air screws" one full turn out and plan on synching the carbs in after a reliable idle speed can be set.
