« on: October 04, 2013, 05:58:10 PM »

Forgot to mention its a 78 F

Seems like it should work.  I have a '75F and I got a '78K parts bike and had pulled the "K" leg apart as I had a few dings in my "F" tubes.  Turned out the K tube was a little shorter I think, not much, but I only had one leg from the K so I ended up dressing my two F tubes instead as I would have ended up with one short one and one longer one.  Diameter is the same and the bolt to secure the damper at the bottom is the same.

All that said I am not the best resource, just letting you know what I found out!!

The front fork pipes are identical (i.e., same Honda part #).

thanks wobbly, that was what I was hoping for. Thinking they might have been longer.
