  • I have to return some videotapes.
Snakes on a Plane.  Early showing, only a scattering of people in the theatre, but I had to go.

I won't post spoilers, (unless asked), but this film is the Single Greatest Achievement of Man.  Forget the moon landings, forget the Great Wall of China, forget the invention of the automobile or Miami Vice.

No, "Snakes on a Plane" will go down in history.

It has, in one fell swoop, made every single piece of cinema, music, art and literature Obsolete.  They cower before the greatness that IS "Snakes on a Plane".

This film will redefine humanity and forever alter the future of the human race.  It is Legendary and the stuff that Dreams are made of.

It is rare that I re-watch movies and I NEVER see them twice in the theatre.  I am breaking my own habit.  I am going to see this film again tomorrow, perhaps multiple times and again multiple times throughout the weekend and as long as it runs in the theatre here.

I implore you to go see it.  Expose yourself to the majesty and power that is "Snakes on a Plane".

Two thumbs way the hell up.

Had to google to find out what the movie was about. I believe the scriptwriters imagination exhausted decades ago. It's been three years since I don't go to the movies and I don't think I'm missing much. Nevertheless, I hope a friend can get me a copy of "Burt Munroe".

Even that state of mind probably wouldn't help.  You'd end up still wanting the 1hr1/2 of your life back.

?????? It's apparently about snakes. On a plane.  ;D

I don't care much for movies like this, but I must admit I'm a bit curious. Seems like it would be incredibly dumb with cheesy effects (Am I the only one that misses the old, non-CGI special effects?). But I'm drawn to it for some reason. Must ... resist ... can't ... look ... away....  :D

BTW, any nudity? I miss that too.  >:( ;D ;D

Yeah, a GREAT set of um...you know.  ;D

This movie is SOOOOOOO awesome!!  It is the first film in years that I am THIS stoked about.  OMG!!!!  I can't get over it!!!

You guys watch, this film will win every Oscar, and about 12 additional Oscars that they had to make up to handle its awesomeness!!!!!!

For those that don't get it, you don't have to.  It's SNAKES on a PLANE!!!!!!

Hang on a moment, here is a review about the film:

I had an orgasm when I watched this movie, it was that good.

I laughed, I cried, I climaxed, I died, I came back, and now I'm typing these words to show my appreciation for this amazing film. It makes films like 'The Godfather' look like 'The Shaggy Dog', and films like '2001: A Space Oddessy' look like crap. This movie is THE movie of the YEAR, better yet, the DECADE. It's definitely the greatest film of all-time.

A classic, no. It's more than that. It has it's own genre, called 'AWESOME-NESS'. That's a whole-lot better than classic.

Hitchcock got nothing' on this film.

Maybe there is something we do not know.

Most of us cannot drop 5 tabs of acid and smoke 5 joints like we could as kids. Otherwise I think the "deepness" of the movie may be much like Lady in the Water of the self-proclaimed visionary M. Night Shymalan.

I think most of us don't realize that movie makers don't target their productions to old farts like us, but to youngsters full of testosterone. I have to admit I willingly paid the ticket to see things like "The last dragon", "Karate Kid" (and the sequels), "American Ninja" (and the sequels), The punisher, and many more.

It is pointless to make movies for adults. They don't have the time to go to the theater anyway...

And, what's wrong with making a "Miami Vice" movie? or Mission:Impossible? Or S.W.A.T?  People who will go are too young to know the original ones, so for them they will be better than the original, because we tend to think that the "original" is the first one we know. For me, "Superman" will always be Christopher Reeve, but Batman will always be Michael Keaton. I can stand that seventies Batman, with no muscles and such crappy FX's...

I'm convinced there is something about movie industry accounting and financials that require them to make losers.. maybe for some sort of tax reduction.   ;)

I think Groovy is one of those guys paid to hype movies up. ;D
Or... The movie is probably filled with subliminal messages causing the movie goer to behave this way.

I went to rotten tomatoes to check the reviews.  It got a 73%  most of the reviews were good.  Maybe it is the next Tremors.  Tremors is a classic, stupid premis but one of those great movies that when it's on T.V. you have to stop and watch it.

I liked the first Tremors but the second two sucked. Only got about 20 minutes through both...

the third one has some great oneliners from burt:

government guys "what should we do?"
burt "Do what you do best; take something simple and complicate it."

"let me ask you one thing, do you keep your head up your ass for the warmth?"

Funny how people bash a movie they have not seen. kinda like how people bash bikes just cause of brand huh ;D

Reminds me of a movie no studio wanted to produce because it was too different. maybe some of you have heard of star wars?
