you all remember my 78F

now let me introduce you to my newest baby!

She is a 76F, with lots of polished and stainless parts, and a Kerker, and an 840cc mill.

I'll have more pics up tomorrow, I snapped these just before loading her on the truck!

Very nice. That looks familiar. Did you buy it from someone here on the boards?

I bought it from a good friend of mine, I think he used to be on the boards a few years ago but he has been without a computer for a few years, and the bike was red until recently.

I really can't describe the amount of detail work he put into this bike, stainless bolts, lots of polishing on the aluminum parts, finns milled off of the valve cover, NOS brake rotors, Front fender, this bike needs nothing! except chromed round mirrors.

I just put 120 miles on it this morning, and I really wasn't done riding, I could have gone another 1200 miles.

Why can't I get this sh*t-eating grin off my face?

She runs better than any other bike I have owned!

I'm also thinking some twisty SS spokes are in order.

A few more pics

Well, the poop was dry so does that make it "Barn Aged"?

Funny you should say that, I had a robin trapped in my garage and it pooped on everything.  I didn't know that much crap could fit in a bird.  It was freaking out and trying to fly out a painted shut window so I left the door open figuring when I left it would calm down and get out. Nope. My wife found it petrafied behind the wood pile and was not happy.  Somehow it became all my fault.

Oh, believe me, I'm glad that part is my fault! But I mean, literally, everything - spots on the dishes, weather, price of gas, etc. - is my fault.

Nice. Rweal nice. Mine almost looked like that, then I got distracted,
blew a head gasket doing burnouts and put the CB550 on the road instead.

Now I have one question: how come them pipes look so nice? No blueing or anyting.
peace,
michel

It's a Kerker! the quality of the Chrome and keeping it in tune, prevents blueing.
