Know a good parts supplier?
« on: August 22, 2006, 02:12:46 PM »
Hey, who do you guys recommend for parts for my 1976 550?  I need to order some gaskets, allen head screws and other misc OEM or pattern accessories.
I like to stay with one supplier and would want to order on line.
Thanks

What parts do you need? The gaskets are easily obtained and no reason for picking a particular supplier. Plus the allen screws can be had at your local hardware store for pennies.

Allen head screw complete kits already put together from Jim Spillane. One of our members. I think he gives a SOHC4 discount rather than buying from him on EBay.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I'm looking for reliability mainly and fair market prices.  Right now, gaskets for various covers and replacement screws for cheesey factory type.  Later, rims, tires, seat items and exhaust.

Still like my nickle a piece for the screws. I might be able to hook you up with some of your items.

Talk with  DSS or a place in your country , it sounds expensive for the parts but  you only have to do the job once OEM parts are good except those screws try Inox for the Hex stuff... or a local store.

:D :D :D :DDon't worry Stingray, just Dave and I having a daft few minutes.

Your from Liverpool USA, Daves from Liverpool UK.
People from our Liverpool are called scoucers and they have a funny sence of humour.
Nothing stupid about your question, just a personality clash by 2 Liverpudlians. ;D ;D ;D
