It was off of brookesy's image here:
http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=10568.0

I decreased rake a bit, changed mounting point of swing arm a bit, lengthened it the tiniest amount, etc.
The frame is my own design, though it's bastardization of 2 basket frame designs I like very much. Again, it's very rough, with some mistakes (the frame), so I'm really just playing mockup. I think I will take some measurements though, So I can do an exact, to spec, design. Not that I'll ahve the money to make it.

Roofles.
Basket frame is like the ones on our CB's, spars wrap all the way around the engine, hence, basket.

you might want to revisit your rear suspension, if you have a look at the arc it will go in relation to the pivot point. a tad bit of flexing may happen to the rear shocks. my credentials in this area, well none really, but I did read a book once  ;D

I thought that too. And I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night  ;) ;D I know, I watch too much tv.

That is looking incredibly sweet though. I want one.

That's true, but I think it's a fair trade off to keep the rear sub-frame short. The shorter we keep it, the stronger and stiffer it is, which is more important than that too-narrow arc. For this application, I do not think that arc will make a difference.

Prolly not, no. I would have to raise the top spars too much to make that possible.

I'd love to see a SOHC4 Forum build-off.

Hopefully in a while, I can save enough money for my own build.

I'm really torn though:

a 750 Cafe in the style of the CR750

-OR-

a 400F Cafe built up like a street-legal Kaz Yoshima race bike

The 750 would be easier, but 750 cafes are more common.  The 400 would be harder to do and less street-usable, but CERTAINLY unique.

I am serious if some one would like to make some side cash doing 3d parts for me. I know how, just dont have the frustration time available. Whatever progy you do it in I can get it.... That's just how cheapo is. You do not know how cool this is when you have a part fully rendered while talking to a client.

Anyway, we are starting in the next bunch of stuff including vented rotors for CB 500/550 and the 750. Writing the cnc program for the template right now.

Still need photos of an engine out of the frame.
If someone does this for me, I'll make the 3d file available for everyones use.

Fantastic. I could really use a straight head on shot and straight down shot (from the top) as well, but this will get me started.

Thanks!
