Softtail 750 frames at CycleOne in Regina, SK, CA
« on: August 22, 2006, 12:18:55 AM »
Thought I'd pass along a little info to anyone that might be interested. On my recent ride from Colorado I stopped by CycleOne Manufacturing in Regina, SK, Canada on my way between Banff/Jasper to Sturgis. There I met Red Good. Great guy and very talented. He knows his stuff. He says he cruises this site often so if you're looking in Red, thanks man. I got to spend about 1 hour talking to him about his products and his operation. I saw a really nice softtail frame for our 750s. Very heavy duty frame. They are licensed manufacturers so it comes with a MSO and numbers stamped into the steering head. This should make it easy to license. It is set up for a 200mm rear tire. It doesn't come with the shocks but Red assured me he can put whatever you want on the frame or supply it for you. My preference will be the 250mm rear tire frame he will be working on later this year. This will require a jack shaft for the chain offset which Red will also provide. Check out www.cycleonemanufacturing.com in case you would be interested.

Interesting frame. Good to see someone still doing things for the SOHC4's and even has
frames for the 650 & 500/550 but, at $2K (for the 750 softtail), that just something for me to
look at cause I can't EVEN afford that. Appreciate the post though. It's always cool to see that
the vintage jobs are still hanging in there. Later on, Bill
