F@cking pigs, that pisses me off.
They might as well rob you at gun point.

I've always had a theory about College cops, and cops in college towns...They're Cop Wannabe's who couldn't make it! That's why they're so over serious! And if they can't make it as college cops, they all go to East Grand Rapids!

Went to visit daughter in dorm at MSU one Sunday (where I was paying full freight tuition for daughter). Parked Buick (obvious parent car) in nearly empty parking lot outside of dorm (where I was paying full freight room and board for daughter). Came back to find $30 "souvenir" on windshield and campus police ticketing most all vehicles.  He explained that I should have parked in the metered visitor spots (of which there were two and both taken). Wrote letter to campus police supervisor explaining my freshman parent mistake and ticket was dismissed.

Isn't room/board/tuition enough?? They emptied my bank account and wanted my pocket change, too!!

so there was some talk of meeting up tomorrow night at the berkley front....map links are elsewhere....
i'll probably be there for a pint or two just cause i love the place and it's on my way home, but with the weather report (PM Rain / Snow Showers / Wind) anyone showing up will be checking out my sweet 03 focus.

plus seems like not much interest...still, i'll probably be perched at the bar by about 6:30

Ahh, hell. I'll still be there, but more than likely rockin' the bumperless '88 BMW 325ix. (Yes. I know. It is that cool.)

You know what I mean. Bike not stupid. Alliteration/repitition funny. Poor attempt at humor unwittingly insulted personal possession I love very much. I feel like jackass.

'Nuff said.

This is why I love this board. It's like having a shrink whose every answer is to go stare at/ride/fondle my bike.

Awesome.

Hey CMorgan-

We still planning on heading to the Front despite the cold weather? I'd still like to hang out for a bit anyway. The wife and I plan on grabbing dinner there. I could bring the Benly, but if it's snowing.....

I always had the plate, just had to get it registered. I have to admit I was impressed with the quick turnaround. I mailed them in a week ago last Monday and I had the registration the following Saturday. (The form says 2 weeks minimum)

I feel like going somewhere on friday or sunday. I think sunday is the best day weather wise in the next several days.

i was supposed to be heading to ohio for the weekend, but it looks like this stupid f___ker i work with is going to cause me to miss it.  if so, i'd be down for a quick sunday ride....weather permitting.  you're in AA, right?

Here's a different view:

Man is that nice! I get chills up my spine when I see little old bikes like this!
What is the displacement of Benlys? (Of course I could wait til I go home and look it up).
The first bike I ever rode (other than minibikes) looked a lot like it..I remember it was all square and had big plastic fenders...I was 11..I don't know what the idiot was doing letting little kids ride his bike!
