Actually, I was going to a few years ago, but didn't, when I remembered a trip East (Sunday River, ME. Kicks ass!) when I couldn't walk up the stairs the morning after skiing for a day! The thought of doing that for a whole week was daunting! BUT, this year, I'm going to get into incredible shape BEFORE skiing starts! (
) It was frustrating this year, The second to last week of skiing (we just closed last week), all of a sudden, my legs felt great at the start of the day.. no warm up, no nuthin'! I'd love just once to start the year that way, and just build on it.
Ski Patrol is a gas.. I can ski whenever I want, and the people are really a bretheren... there's also that thing about helping people. We're trained to an "EMT Basic" level, which means that we do most everything but administer drugs... kinda like developing a "super Power"!
