I have found a local source for engines in my area that has everything from CB400f, CB550, CB750 and lots of twins.  They are all well weathers and some have moss growing on them.

I do have my eye on two 71 CB750 eninges.  Prices are very reasonable.  Is it worth the effort to try and revive one, or should I just let em rust in peace.

If the ports are open they're just worth what you can see outside. I found a nice one, it had shopping bags crammed in the ports. Moss on the rocker cover, clean as a whistle on the inside.

Intake ports on most have water in them.  Valves got to be rusted closed.  Doubt the head would be useable.

Yeah sometimes I forget how lucky I am.  Got to fix the front brake on the one on the road and see the fall scenary before it's too late.

Hey Kyle - might not be a bad idea to check the engine numbers. A real early one might have some value, ya know.

That is what I am thinking trans parts.  Some are intact with nothing removed.  The two 750s are all together.  Lots of 500 / 550 engines too.

I just like to walk around checkout all the cool stuff.

Didn't know cases were worth that much $150 is pretty good.

I am guessing at that price..but what does it cost to repair a chain-break?and around here you can never find a k1 parts motor everyday..like just dont see them
Sure cases have been sold cheaper, but if i had to strip a motor, inspect cases for damage, then pack to ship. I am not going to do it for a hundred bucks.

Not much of a market for cases. I have a set just sitting for two years now. I did trade another set though.
