Oil leak, tach drive seal?
« on: October 11, 2013, 03:01:34 PM »
I'm guessing that there is a seal in there where the tach cable comes out of the valve cover, that needs replacing. Any tips or tricks involved for this? Hopefully the valve cover does not to have to be removed which means the engine needs to be pulled. Sorry for the basic question, I've never dealt with this problem before.

The part ekpent is talking about is Honda part number 91256-425-003. Go to your dealer and get that one. It is a bit thicker and less prone to leaking.
