Yamiya bearing
« on: October 12, 2013, 06:10:45 PM »

Anyone know who make their engine bearings? SKF,NTN etc....

I did not email them because i doubt they understand my question, they seem to be be very limited in english communication.

Bert,
for years i've never known what your question is because I am so distracted by your Avatar... :) :)

No idea on their bearing supplier..Send them an email, I got good responses when I asked them questions about their Yosh copy exhaust.

I have purchased the grooved bearings from them for two CB750 engines and both times they were NTN bearings.

What difference would it make?

Both brands are excellent.

I did a lot of work in an NTN/Bower plant here in illinois. The plant managers rotate in from Japan. I think 1.5 years at a time. There are two, one training and one doing the job. It's interesting, they speak japanese on the intercom. I'd be taking language lessons if I worked there permanantly.
Sorry for the hijack, back to your regularly scheduled bearing post.
