I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong. JT is really proud of his unobtainium parts. Just depends on how bad you want them. I have wanted a couple items from him fairly badly  ::) and it cost me. There is an audience out there!
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

That guy is famous for high $$$ Honda stuff. He's had those advertized for a while. Milking the rare factor a bit I think.
But a dollar is a dollar, and the supply is drying up. It sucks if you need 'em.

I made the mistake of not getting a set of HM300 and 341's when the were still available from Honda. But it will be a cold day in #$@ before I would ever give that for a set of pipes. A short time before Honda discontinued these the quality of the pipes had gotten really bad though. Bad chrome and a pipe or two not mounting up unless you did some modification and cutting >:(

You are correct Hall....here are a few pics of the poor quality chrome on the last pipes I got. I forget how many I sent back before I got shiney and dent free chrome. Their careless workmanship would have made Mr. Honda NOT proud at all.

$3495?   He could at least ship for free.

I predict within 1 year someone will be making repops of these for $1300 (like they have done for the Z1)

These are not NOS, they are the licensed repros. Bought a set 2 1/2 years ago thru Bike Bandit, $950. Cheaper than thru Honda.
Quality is poor and there is surface rust on bottom pipes already.
Still better than the swiss cheese I had originally.

Am curious who pays that.
Would be a good investment, buy for 1K, hold for 2 years, sell for 3K plus.

When I worked at a Honda mc shop, In 73, I was installing a new front fender on a customers 72 750, I pulled the new fender out of the box and looked at it and called the boss over and showed him the fender. The chrome was so thin that it had a copper tint to it. Honda was started a flash chrome process and it was differently sub par. It was nothing like the chrome of the fender that I was replacing. My boss shook his head and told me to put it on. I was very disappointed in in the quality of the new parts that we started to get from then on.

Has anyone ever tried the repros? How's the chrome finish and fitting/installation? I'm sure I read somewhere on these forums that there were installation issues...

I've had 3 sets of pipes recently (within the last 4 years)    1 set directly from Honda, 1 set from DSS, and another from a guy on ebay.

All 3 were pretty good looking at 5 feet but if you looked close, you could tell the quality just wasn't there.   The chrome was very thin.

However, all 3 sets fit like a glove.   Just the chroming was suspect.   I'm also hoping that since we can't get any from Honda, somebody

will take the reins and start doing repops like the KZ guys can get.  I think that wasn't really an option as long as you could get them from

Honda...   Now that Honda seems to have abandoned them forever, there may be some money in it for somebody to bring them to market.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Biggest problem is that while Honda may not want to supply them they have been known to keep others form trying. Funny.
