Took the headers to a muffler shop and got them to help me out with the "collectors". They ended up welding the mufflers to the headers. I guess that's on me, I didn't tell them that you would normally clamp the mufflers to the headers. The headers were structurally sound but looked pretty ugly. So I bought some lava rock header wrap to dress them up. It came in a nice neutral color. I used the two inch wide stuff and think it turned out pretty good. You'll see it in the next set of pictures.

Well here she is! All finished up! The more I ride her the better she runs as the motor loosens up a bit. The only addition I've made since these pictures is a bar end mirror on the left hand side. I can't walk past her in the garage without wanting to jump on and take her for a ride! It's been quite a learning curve for me. Couldn't have done it without the help of this forum!
