Get in your time machine and go back to 1996. Go over to Illinois avenue and drain the gas out of the bike I just bought?  Ok, just turn off the petcock. take some stabilizer along too.  :o

The K0. I'm having trouble getting the call back on picking up the drag bike. The carbs on this beauty are not so pretty on the inside. Thank goodness the fuel ran out rather than in. After an afternoon and evening of kroil, carb cleaner, heat, repeat etc I finally got the float pins out. The oil side sidecover literally crumbled in my hands. HA! Glad I have another set. The airbox came off better but it has a crack. I have repops of all the above and original sidecovers too.

Don't I wish there was an original exhaust laying around.. I had the sidecovers and airbox for the 70K0. Luckily it didn't get painted yet so I can put them on the sandcast. I have a nos candy blue green one and a used grey one and a set of Frankenbikes repops.
It needs a name or something other than sandcast. Maybe it can be the 69K0 even though it was sold in and titled as a 70.
