... because i found this little gem on the side of the road. 78 Kz200. all original. 6k miles. been sitting for at least 15 years. big spraypainted plywood sign (very homemade looking, made out of an odd shaped piece of plywood thats been under a tree for decades) saying $100. whos gonna pass that up?! so i swing in and give it a good look over.. the motor is stuck, its missing the battery, grab bar, right mirror, and carb-airbox boot. other than that its all there. so then i begin my offers, i never pay asking price
50$? "no, firm on $100".... hmm ok howbout' 75$ or 80$ if you can deliver it to my house ( i have no truck and this guy has several throughout his yard...)
so long story short i just had a new bike delivered to my door for $80
ive already freed the motor. i solved the spark issue that it was originally parked for ( bad plug cap). i later discovered a leaky fork seal, slightly bent bars, and the signal lights are not working... BUT WHO CARES?! 80$ and ive had fun fixing it in the past few hours.
so anywho, im posting here hoping someone may have a manual in PDF for this little guy. im a bit of a novice when it comes to fork seals and id like to have something to go by. points gap would be handy too. anyone?
