He’s probably doing what I did, I bought mine from the US for $60 and then selling them here for a nice profit ….I just put the UK lamp and bracket on it when it arrived and I got a new looking part for little money.

What has to be done to mount the UK tailight on the US brackets?  I HATE the US taillight, which wouldn't look out of place on top of a police car, it's so damn big.  I am thinking of fitting the smaller UK unit.

The only difference is US lamp is the bolts are a little further apart, you would have to mess the holes in your lamp holder 1-2mm each side or so I think, UK lamp have bolts not so far appart…….this lamp is BIG from the US  and I smile when I see it! I would never ride a bike with a lamp that BIG..... UK plod would have me for light pollution. ;D

Do you have a source for uk-spec rear turn signal stems and the front light bracket?  I'm considering going the full UK-lighting route.  Much better aesthetically.

The UK headlight is an odd size (just over 6 inch), so getting a bright replacement will not be easy I’m using a 5 ¾  H4 Cibie with a conversion ring, the Stanley original is crap!  DSS has the chrome rim and plastic bucket and the rear indicator mounts, the front bracket would have to come from ebay  (your inicator stems are too fat for our lamps) you would have get them from a 350F I got mine for $1.50 each off the guy with the mudguard.

hi ernie, a plastic inner guard is the bit that goes forward from your chrome rear guard down to your swingarm ,   mick.

Mick, he probably is the same person, looking at the BIG lamps and stickers he must be getting them from the US.

Oh. American vs English languages.  I thought maybe the English bikes had some kind of sub-fender for extra protection.

Don't know what happened to my last post- I really didn't feel that strongly about it!
