I could not find a way to bend DOM tubing for the swan neck connecting bar, so I just welded it up like this.

Nice, before I got my mill , I knew I needed a boring head.. sure use it a lot..
You may need to regrind the boring bars, make sure they have clearance.
On aluminum I use HSS a lot in a bar with setscrew to hold the toolbit.
Now you can make more stuff. .

My brother got a 500 with a sidecar. Holy wow that thing's got a ton of angle iron and heavy brackets welded to the bike frame. One of the big ones was left off to make clearance for the kick start. I doubt it's even needed.

I am copying Velorex frame, more or less.   From what I could find, heavier sidecar is always better, that stud is a tube with a 1/4" wall.  There will be plenty of meat on this one  ;D

Another too far away...

Sidecars have had a resurgence in interest by the hipsters..at least they are keeping a segment of the industry afloat.

In this book:

the hero drives Nimbus converted to steam or maybe wood gas powered.  Good story, based on an actual historical event.

My brother bought this, it has about a half ton of angle iron welded to the 500 for mounts. ironworker style. He'd like me to move this to his bought new K4 750 but that ain't happening unless he rides this a lot. https://photos.app.goo.gl/9Wtq2dZNq41J7ZES9

Notice how he parked me in the mud puddle. I may have mentioned he wasn't allowing for the width of the sidecar and would probably put us both in the hospital. grumpy old men. lol.
