Topic: What other tanks will fit on a 1980 CB650?

I'm looking for another tank for my bike, but I'm not having a lot of luck finding one for a 1980 650.  Does anyone know if other year/model tanks will fit my bike?  A 750 tank, perhaps?  I know an 81 650 will fit, but I can't seem to find one of those, either... My tank is leaking at the base of the fuel port, so until I find a replacement, my bike is a yard ornament.  Sucks...

If your frame uses a '81 tank... not sure.
I have attached a CM400t tank on my '79 650 once though.
Not a direct fit, shorter. Had to use a home made bracket to hold it down.

a '79's tank is longer than a '80-'82 tank(in the US) so a CM400T tank might fit the '80-'82 frames better.
I'm pretty sure a strap of metal with 2 holes1 fot the tank mount and one to mount onto the frame.
The bracket I used was nothing more than a piece of flat bar with 2 holes and a bend to fit both the tank and the frame mount points.

I have mocked up a 750 tank and a '79cb650 tank on my '82 frame, and the 750's tank would be easier to get it to work.(and who doesn't like that latch on the gas tank lid?)
