Topic: gasket kit recomendations

I have a '78 cb550k in need of a COMPLETE gasket kit.  In my experience, some kits are missing some pieces.  This is exactly what I don't want to happen while rebuilding the engine.  Summer's coming(yes I know, in the northern hemisphere that is) and the less delays scrambling for parts the better.  So can anyone recomend a engine gasket kit that's COMPLETE, and that they've actually used?...thanks.

Just finished having my '77 CB750F2 rebuilt. The guy who did the motor was happy I got the athena gasket kit. he said that athena usually includes all the little bits needed for a true rebuild. I'm picking it up tomorrow so i'll ask if he had to get any bits that were not included.

I just rebuilt my 81 CB650 and used an athena kit. It had every gasket and o-ring on the motor except for the oil pan and oil filter. It also included a victor reinz head gasket.

I just checked with parts411.  Although the item is listed online, when I called to make sure they said the part was discontinued, and they don't have it.  Tricky, Tricky.  Glad I called, they would have let me order it online, and I would have found out who knows when, that it wasn't available.
Which brings me back to: any other suggestions to find an athena kit for a 550? anyone have experience with the vesrah kit?

Just checked Bike Bandit, they have them for $93 ish.
