And no, the drip tray is not for engine leakge; it's catching swingarm bushing lubricant!

Thanks, Bill.

She's a work in progress, and is currently sitting in the garage at home under a cover, sulking, since I got the 650. I'm in the process of converting to a single carb set-up and have replaced the pretzelled front brake lever. My long term goal is to repaint her in the orange colour that she started life with. Black Commandos are quite common; I've never seen an orange one, even in England.

I know you'll do her proud and listen, keep us posted. I know that I'd like to see more of it
and, surely, there are others. I, for one, have always thought that the Nortons were impressive.
Try to keep the peace between her and the 650, okay? Ha! Ha!   Don't want them to get
jealous of each other, do we.

I think we all love the look of those bikes.  after all they inspired honda to make ours.  if we are all big enough to admit that it is the price tag on those nortons that keeps us away (and maybe a bit of reliability/part accessability) i think more pics are definately in order.  sweet looking bike nick,

Thanks, one and all. I'll post more pics as things progress, but working 1000km away from home makes further progress difficult! My hope is that she will be back on the road for next season, so that I can split riding time between her and Silver Sophie.

Is it just me, or is the picture missing now?  Did it get lost in the update?  Please re-post.

Thanks,
Kyle   :-)

I think Glenn is working on the site today and a lot of avatars and pics are missing.

Black is the color for those Commandos, indeed.
Your bike is dope as hell, congrats

Thanks. It actually came out of the factory in the Signal Orange colour, which either the first or second owner changed to balck. My long term plan is to have it repainted to that original colour. Black is cool, but the orange is less common.
