hi all first time on this site ,so any help would be great, i have just bought a 1977 cb400/4 and the kickstart lever is shot!!!!.
i have looked around for a second-hand one and found nothing, do any other of the honda range fit? , i know mine is beyond repair.

You should have a button on the right hand switch, you can use that until you fix the kickstart arm.

They sometimes come up on Ebay, so worth watching there. They seem to make £50-£60, I vaguely recollect.

Kickstart arms with the knuckle pop up on eBay here in the states for less than $30, sometimes less than $20.  Also, the 350F kicker is identical.

Do you need just the arm and knuckle or the whole starter mechanism?

So the knuckle is fine (that's the hard part to get), but the arm is bad?

Arms+knuckles pop up on eBay pretty regular.  Look in the 350F categories as well because they are a bit more common and they fit.

E Bay and make it .com not .co.uk so you look at the US It will be easier to find a rocking horse with diahreoa in the UK. Only other one that fits is the 350F and they are even rarer
