Topic: Mixed Brands....What Are Your Thoughts?

I ride with HD boots and an Arctic Cat helmet   . I needed some boots and my wife bought me a gift certificate for the only store in town that sells motorcycle boots. He only sold HD and another brand and the boots I picked were the only ones that were actually for  motorcyling AND fit me. I like them a lot.
Funny thing, the store owner told me he sold a #$%* load of HD boots to people who have never even been on a motorcyle. They just want something with HD on them (which explains the selection he had- lots of shoes and boots with all kinds of dangly things hanging off them).

Like all the people who by CAT footwear and who have never been around heavy equipment....must be the muscular brand association!
