Speedo Drive Gearbox Retainer
« on: May 20, 2005, 12:26:16 AM »
Hi Folks - I am just nearing the end of a front end rebuild on my K1 750 and have discovered a good reason for my speedo not working since I purchased the bike 3 yrs ago. The Speedo Drive Gearbox Retainer is rooted. Part No 44641-300-020. Infact the speedo drive gearbox itself has a large fracture right through it but it is the retainer that is the culprit. I can source neither a new or S/H retainer or speedo drive/gearbox in Australia. Tried Silvers too. Any ideas - as the riding experience will feel complete with two needles moving.

Regards
Richard
