The Shop Vancouver
« on: October 21, 2013, 08:01:11 am »
So I finally got my ignition and was able to ride this weekend. ;D Stopped in at The Shop in The Couv, cool lil accessory shop with coffee. All Moto related gear, boots, jeans, air cleaners , helmets etc. It was the 1 year anniversity and about 30 or so bikes roll up, very cool. I didnt take pics though .  :( . Cool Hip stuff, Roland Sands, duex ex machina, high end . Owner is a real cool cat. I say check it out if you are there.

Yes. I cant say its MY town yet. It certainly is my wifes town though. She is thrilled we are back in Canadia. Although we cant really afford to be downtown, New West isnt a bad place to be.

At least you don't have to resort to living in Surrey. That's where all old 80's cameros go to die! :) Oh yeah and lot's of pink houses too.

Wife worked in White rock for 5 yrs, inlaws live in Surrey. But they are rich so they have the 'nice house ,in the 'nice' area. Lucky for them. I guess you gotta be rich or have a real good job here in Vancouver , sheesh, the real estate prices are un fu*king believable.

Yea, Canada never suffered the housing recession that we did. And with our (USA) love of oil their economy remained fairly strong. I notice the little things like boats and vintage motorcylces are even more expensive in BC then they are down here in Pugetropolis.

But I love BC! One big beautiful place. I envy you for moving there. If the healthcare thing never gets firgured out down here we might be moving to Victoria and Vancouver Island.

Yeah no sh*t about the healthcare. I just didnt want my Kid to grow up around gunloving 'we the people' people. They seem to love going to war. Funny , it seems as if the right to own a gun is more important than caring for each other. Actually, its not funny at all.
