I have an 03 toyota rav4 with a transmission problem that these
particular vehicles are noted for, related to a bad ECU. Defective ECUs have surfaced
in such large numbers that Toyota recalled/warranteed them as part of an extended warranty. Of course, mine is past the warranty period. My question is, Has anyone used any of the ECU rebuilding services on Ebay? They're priced very reasonably. A new ECU from Toyota is close to 1000.00......Anyone????thanks!
