Don't know if this has been done yet, lets see those old  pics of you and your bike.

Here's me with my 1974 CB750 I bought used in 1976.

I'll have to finally figure out the scanner on my printer for that but I'll dig something up.

Just a question, how in the hell do you afford a second 750 when you are sixteen?

How about Bonneville 1972 I think. A full tank of gas in my mini bike + Bonneville Salt Flats= Oh yeah I had fun.
The guy in the leathers is my oldest brother and the bike is a 1960 sumtin Kawasaki 250 maybe 350 T1. Not really sure what it was called but it was a 2cyl rotary valve 2 stroke.

Dad got a loan from the bank in  his name and I made the payments back to him.
I went to boarding school during the winter, so I made the $59.00 per mo.
payments in 12 weekly installments during the summers of '74, '75, '76. I made a $600.00
profit on a k3 (my first 750) that I sold just a few months before this pic was taken. Worked 40 hr.
work weeks doing landscape and maintenance. Hard, hot, and dirty work, but man was it worth it 8) That bike was a chick magnet too.

I can't remember but what I do remember was that it wasn't impressive. My brother had a lot of problems with it mis firing on the top end and I don't think he ever got it solved. Even with the lousy speed he did however set a record and that record still stands. HOWEVER the reason he was able to set the record was because it was the first year for that class and he was the only one competing in that class ..... he could've pushed the bike and still set a record. And the reason it still stands is because not only was that the first year for the class it was also the only year as well, after that speedweek was over the class was dropped. That doesn't keep my brother from bragging about it though.  ;D

Rode from Ann Arbor to Long Island back in 1977 to visit my sister in Bellmore. Went on to Montauk Point at the eastern tip of Long Island the next day. Neither myself or the bike look the same these days.  :)
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Crap picture but the only one I posess.
1975 Kawasaki 250 S1C taken in 77. My first and almost my last bike.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

I had a bad accident that put me in hospital for 10 days. Took me while to get back on again.

My first brand new bike , a K8 !!
Found this bike in completely stock condition in Feb. 08. Paid over twice what my new one cost 30 years ago. Am trying to re-create the look of the late 70's Drag Bike styling.More later. 4-2-10 It ain't stock any more and I have no idea what I am trying to create !
