CB 750 mirror
« on: October 30, 2013, 05:15:22 AM »
Hello,

I have two old KO mirrors, one is missing the glass. So I want to change it from a newer one.

How may I remove the glass of an CB 750 mirror without breaking it?

Can they and the seal be bought seperately?

Yes, those are the mirros.

My old one, with the number on the back, is missing the glass.

I have the same, newer one without that number, with glass and I want to switch it over.

BTW: in some sales brochure, Handbook, part list I see different mirrors on the sandcast. What is the correct mirror for a 1970 CB 750 (KO) ?

Thank you

The ones in my picture are from a low mileage K0. Would have to check to see what is marked on them, remember a logo or letters or something stamped, not sure though what difference was with a Sandcast mirror. This is the mirror from a very early low number Sandcast I just looked at recently, looks the same.

Here are detail photos of the old one.

I think the mount is smaller, its not that gleamy as the older one.  And it has "Pat. 536563" stamped.
