DIY Auxiliary Fuel Tank
« on: October 22, 2013, 11:45:34 am »
Ok...I've been thinking on getting and Aux fuel tank for a long while now ...You know, all those times when you work in your bike's  carbs etc ----you have to take down the tank and mount it back again to test and down again to re-adjust ?
Here is a simple and cheap solution ...less than $10 compared with the buying alternative of $65 plus.

I made a short video for reference

Here is the list of parts you will need:
1-    5/16" Hose ID, 1/4" NPT Male Barb Hose/Tubing Fitting Connector

1-    5/16” Hose Adapter/Coupler

1-   1/4   NPT Brass Fitting, Coupler Male

1-   1/4" NPT Female Brass Mini Ball inline Valve,

3-    Feet of 5/16 clear hose

1- Aluminum water bottle

that is going to save a lot of dangerous fuel-tank-on-stacked-chair-on-coffee-table action on my next carb synch haha!
