Busso has posted pics of the pipes in progress of manufacture. Reportedly they also make pipes for oem motorcycle manufacturers.

Yamiya site says they have some NOS Honda HM300 pipes, nice sound.
Bargain price of about $4300
Yikes
But made by Honda!
I wish I could just to hang on the wall.

A few years ago I stumbled on two NOS sets of Honda made, HM300’s. One set went on the KO (sold) and the other set is on my daily rider K1. They do sound great....Maybe I should install repros!

I ordered my 350F pipes from Busso last week, and jsut got an email today saying they will take 60 working days. I'm not in a hurry so I don't really mind. I've written several times to ask them (nicely) to take off the unnecesary clamps and center stand stop but they have been ignoring these emails. It's 22 euro so it's not the end of the world, but after not asking my direct question about it before I bought it is a little annoying. I imagine that I'm not the only who asks. Do they not answer hoping to make a couple extra euro by having people order extra stuff? I mean, that's a little shady...

I’ve encountered several vendors that don’t do well with email replies. I think some of the shops are good at their craft, not so much with tech and customer communication.

True, although with these guys we went back and forth with emails before I bought, and they wrote back the next day.

They finally wrote back and said that although they cannot change the invoice, they will process a refund and not ship the extra stuff. It hasn't happened yet...

Someone on the CB750.com Facebook just posted some pictures of their new Busso HM300 pipes. They complained that they arrived with some poor quality welds, and the inlets look a little deformed. Hmmm...

I saw that, I would not be happy receiving them like that. Poor quality control.

yeah for real, if pipes show up with gaps like that and some black glue in there, fuuuuck that - then again, they were $850.

I saw one today on F/B, the #3 pipe stuck out further in front of the engine than the other three. It possibly needed the towel and rubber mallet adjustment like my Yamiya pipes did but they (busa) replied to him, it's supposed to be that way.
One other pic showed rust inside, I'd guess that was from the chroming chemicals.

If a CB750 stock pipe need go deeper on the spigot on head so rear bolt will fit, the rear part of pipe need to be moved downward so pipe can glide on at front.

No mallet that can damage the pipe.

Just my luck. I kind of feel like all I heard was positive, and now that I've made an order things are going south. I still don't have my partial refund. But on the bright side, I have good stock headers and only ordered the silencers so... maybe less can go wrong?

I wouldn't throw in the towel on hope. One case doesn't mean it is indicative of all. I would imagine Busso is going to try to make it right. But, that is a process failure example.
Unfortunate, trust that it is an anomaly until proven wrong.

I would love to have had the money available for an order...

Just got an email from Busso and they’re having more quality issues and will have another 30 day delay. Pictures they sent showed pipes covered with deep scratches.

Honda was having that problem with scratches and finish towards the end of them having them. I remember member Johnie sending 2 or 3 750 pipes back at his dealer till he got a good one. Then some scratchy pipes started showing up on E-bay.

I feel like Busso is trying to make things right. At least the defective pipes didn’t get sent out. Just got to be patient. Personally, I’m happy they caught them and we don’t have to deal with shipping them back!!!
