Interesting.
Over here if the taxing agency believes you’ve made a mistake with your estimated or accrued taxes you receive an invoice and penalty. Your options are to pay or hire someone that speaks their language both of which will cost you near the same unless in gross error…

I have deleted some of my conversations in my quest to not anger the 4-4 gods. I'm told they lurk around here.

If lurking here... A good reason for either deliver or refund. Not neither.

I ordered a left handle bar switch on eBay. The seller contacted me after 2 weeks to inform that the package was lost in shipping. He was very eager to refund.

I had to answer 2 times, no worries, I can wait another month until you get the part in stock again.

Part arrived... It was very cheap and I had no hurry. Total time ca 2 months.

At least Dario is back to answering but by his track record that probably doesn't mean much.

I also got a hint that something could happen soon. I'm anxious to show everyone how awesome and worth the wait they are.

A guy on the Australian CB750 FB site just received his Busso pipes after months of waiting and he’s pissed. The headers don’t fit at all and the overall quality is crap. Busso is trying not to refund his money and it’s going to cost him a ton of money to mail them back at his expense. He’s definitely not a happy customer. I’m glad I bought the Yamiya pipes for my K0. Buyers beware. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thanks Terry, I'll give an honest report of what I think of them if and when I get them,
Busso would like someone to say something nice about the pipes. I hope that I can, 14 months ago the reports were good.
I'm hoping to get the same two sets that were shipped before. They were caught trying to escape Italy without a visa and were held in custody of the authorities for 8 months.

I actually did compliment them 15 months ago when I received my 341's on the quality and careful packing but that didn't help on getting my 300's. I don't need the 300's anymore and plan on selling them but I'm now worried about the fitment issues I'm hearing about. Not that I'm ever going to see the 300's anyway.

A gullible guy might believe that my pipes are in the mail, but hearing two more weeks, soon, any day now, for ten months makes a guy a non-believer.
It made me envious when I heard how many holidays and vacation days the Italians get. My boss knew he made his cut off of every chargeable hour I worked. It was like pulling teeth for me to get a 4-day weekend.

Yamiya is out of some pipes again, just to stay on track.

I've had the Yamiya's come in individual L shaped boxes that fit into a single box and like that. I think the cmsnl 341's came packed like that also.
When my Busso's come this week, I'll show you how they are packed. L0L!

Did they come with heat shields John? I haven't opened my box yet (I've only had it for maybe a year...) and wondered, when I saw a pair of old heat shields hanging in my garage. From memory the K0 ones were painted, not chromed, and luckily, the ones hanging up (God knows where they came from...) are painted. ;D

Terry….. Same as Per, no heat shields or hardware. I did get a full set of all that, in new Honda bags, from “JT Marks” on EBAY. Don’t ask the price! It seems everything has double recently……

Businesses in general raised their prices blaming fuel and electricity prices + Covid.
Fuel and electricity cost today less and no more Covid.
Prices are stuck at the high level.

I have changed were to buy my groceries. I have found better for less money.

USD ,GBP and Euro are +20% than a few years ago for me.
JPY is much better though!!

Only problem is Yamiya shipping when changed from Japan Post to UPS.
Horrible shipping, not an alternative anymore!

I'll check Webike for next need of parts if found on eBay.de.

Thanks guys, I had a look at the Yamiya site and the HM300 copies don’t seem to have gone up much since I first looked at them years ago. I bought mine from a friend who had several new sets, so even though they were a little more expensive than Yamiya, I didn’t have to pay for shipping.

I have new spigots and clamps, rear footpegs and bolts, and the old heat shields which are more “original” than new reproductions, so all I can think I need are joiner rubbers for the stands, and screws for the heat shields? What else have I forgotten? ;D

Some might suggest drilling drain holes, if your pipes don't have them, and spraying the inside with a ceramic coating for rust prevention/longevity.

Do your Yamiya pipes fit up nicely?  I'm about where you describe with a set of Bussos I received in February and still in the measure
twice... cut once... phase to get them to fit the mounting holes in the rear.

Thanks mate, yep the Yamiya pipes are the best. This is my second set, the first set were “lightly used” by a member here in Oz who bought them, installed them, then took them off again and put a 4 into 1 pipe on his bike. The reason the Yamiya pipes fit so well is that they apparently went to the OEM manufacturer (not Honda, Honda didn’t make their own pipes) and found out that they still had the original dies, so had them make a few hundred sets, and the only difference from stock was they couldn’t have them stamped, for copyright purposes.

They are the exact replicas of the original pipes, and while the Busso’s are cheaper (if you ever receive them) to me they don’t look right, the headers are too straight, unlike the more curved Yamiya/Honda pipes and the gap between the tips of the mufflers appear to be further apart. From memory the Yamiya’s  are drilled to allow moisture to drip out, but I’ll run a little 2 stroke oil in my K0 to “fog” the insides of the pipes, and they shouldn’t rust. ;D

Terry….. The “no number” Yamiya pipes I just used on the S/C were packed away for +4 years. When I opened them, I discovered they were very well coated internally, end to end. Almost looks like grey ceramic!

That’s good to know John, it’s a pity Honda didn’t do it, if they did there’d be a lot more original sets around, Hm300’s were only good for a couple of years here before the rust set in. A lot were thrown away in favour of 4 into 1’s or crash damage too, but rust was the main cause. ;D

Both my sets of Yamiya pipes fits very well.
No numbers and Lotus Root.
They might need to sit all the way in at front spigot to fit the rear frame hole.

They can glide off a little. Only thing then is to swing the pipe down a little at rear and push at the front to let it glide on the spigot  again.
Absolutely no hammer time needed.

I have used a luggage strap around the entire engine with pipes on to make them sit correctly until I fasten at rear with foot peg.

I used motor oil diluted with white spirit to give them a splash of rust protection inside.
My garage is very dry, heated and never below 21*C.

The Yen is cheaper now than several years back. This despite the cheap Swedish peseta.

Latest rate from yesterday. Update every working day 1pm.

Don…. I’ve never seen it before either. This set came from a buddy in Calgary ( project that never happened). Probably 3-4 years old, at least.
