« on: October 31, 2013, 03:16:04 PM »
Hello guys i am rebiulding 1977 750A bought the bike with no carb, I now have one I have what is prob stupid Q but cannot find answer in service manual.
where the Soliniod valve is located on carb  there are 3 fitting coming out of carb. The angled one goes toline that connects to Top of Solenoid valve. Of the other 2 one must go to the Fuel tank(the larger of the two i think) can anyone tell me where the 3rd r fitting is connected to or is it a breather . Thx in advance  david

1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.

Sorry - I thought this was a solenoid hose question.

The three hose connections are (from front to back - or from head towards exhaust) are: solenoid connection; carb vent; and fuel supply.

I believe you are pointing to the carb vent - and not the fuel line.  A hose should be connected -about 5 inches long - that runs up to (and under) the gas tank - and is open at that end.
