Hello from Oakland!
« on: September 21, 2013, 02:55:37 PM »
Hi everyone,

After scouring the forums constantly and absorbing a plethora of helpful insight on my rebuild I figured it was time to get on here in a more official manner. I just recently bought my first bike, a 1975 cb750f. I can't wait to get it on the road. It seemed to run well when I bought it but it had an awful chatter when it idled and had difficulty shifting into 5th gear. Long story short it is now completely torn apart in my basement. I will be posting my progress on my rebuild in another post shortly, and any and all advice is MOST ABSOLUTELY WELCOMED!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm 10% nervous and 90% excited about the rebuild process, but this forum community seems to be overflowing with people wanting to share their advice, which is really amazing. Can't wait to get to the point where I'm putting it back together.

Thanks guys and gals!

Thanks 754 and wrench monkey! That's part of the reason I made a 750 my first bike. Can't wait for it to be road ready.
