Plug Wire and plug combo for digital tach.

I have been using  Dyna 3ohm coils, to dyna copper core wires, into Iridium plugs.

The plugs (as far as I know) are only offered with a resistor.

I will be using a motogadget tach/speedo and it says that suppression wires must be used or the unit can be damaged.

I like the Iridium but I cant use them with the suppression wires correct? Any good options?

I couldn't find anything that says you can't use suppression wire with Iridium plugs.  You do however want to use a quality wire.  The best would seem to be the latest 'spiral' wound.

I agree, Taylor makes some we use on Samauto. Using NGK racing wires on Calendar Girl, both hi po 750's.Bill

Do suppression wires hold any resistance? i know the DR8EIX that I use do, and thus i went with a copper core wire. I know the resistance should be in one place.

IF the suppression wires do hold resistance what are my plug choices?

I seem to recall the short length of suppresion wire we need will not add much resistance, less than the plug so you're fine. I was using resistor caps & Iridiums.

The NGK caps have a 5ohm cap correct?  what plugs were ran with them?

Downside of running a 5ohm cap and resistor plug? I don't have to run iridium plugs, i just want to :)

I run NGK caps, supression wires with NGK BPR8EIX plugs on the sidecar with a Boyer ignition, no issues.
