Man I'm pretty jealous of the gsxr and spoked combo!  I did my fork swap 8 yrs ago and none of these resources were out there!  I had found some random Internet photos of 2 other cb750s with different forks and wheels!

You cut through that with rouge?  Nice.  I normally hate gold, but for some reason I like the anodized gold shocks.  When I get around to doing a swap like that, I'm keeping it gold!   Yours looks good though.

I stripped both forks with sodium hydroxide (yum), after which, I polished.

I ran them all summer. They aren't perfect, as I can't grab a fistful from standstill, but they're nice. The wide band worked out very well for tuning, and I can see where things are still a tad off. I'm gonna up the main jet, replace an accelerator pump boot, and play a little more with the accelerator pump. Should have a pretty fun bike when all is said and done.

Mick, you'll have to show off some of those sexy triples we were discussing ;) That is, unless they're on the hush hush. I'm gonna try the stock gixxer offset to begin with, if I can't stomach the handling, I'll have a set made up.

I sourced a stem from a member of DTT. It should be here tomorrow. It's far cheaper than getting one machined. I'm hoping to have the frontend all mounted tomorrow night, as my pretty lady is having drinks with friend...I shall retreat to the man cave ;) . I think I'm gonna slap a piece of billet in the lathe and turn out a dust cap that I can tack to the upper lock nut. It seems so damn bulky.

A guy named Devin is turning them out and is slowly putting together quite the assortment of parts over at cognitomoto.com. The hubs are bolt on for many gixxer fronts. I started with a harley hub, but would've spent just as much having adapters made.
