Never be afraid to ride your bike, unless you are building it for a customer or specific sale in mind. You build it and you ride it. If someone offers you enough to sell it, then they can have it. I'm not big on trailer queen bikes, unless the motorcycle is historic and ultra-rare. A custom is made for the person who designed it to ride it. If that means you rub it with a diaper and clean it after riding, so be it. Letting it sit is BS.
