how to add/change parts of your thread title?

how to people add or change part of their thread title i have looked and checked the forum FAQ but i cant figure it out. if i change it as i repost in my thread it just shows up as the original one.

also i used the search box but "change" and "title" bring up changing a bikes title, so not much help

click "MODIFY' @ your original thread post, and make the change in that title field.
